As one of our objectives for 2011, the NMMU Family Business Unit would like to establish the first ever Network of family business researchers and family business students in South Africa. If you are currently or have at some stage been involved in research focused on family business, please be so kind as to complete the online survey by clicking on the following link: NMMU FBU Family Business Researcher Network.
We will be using this information to create a database of family business researchers and students. In addition, by completing the online form, you will be entitled to receive our electronic newsletter and details about upcoming events, workshops and training programmes. It is hoped that we can increase the dissemination of information and encourage family business research by way of this network.
In order for the NMMU Family Business Unit to achieve its objective of assisting family business leaders and/or managers in South Africa and the rest of Africa to grow and to prosper by offering executive programmes, workshops, short courses, high-quality research, and consulting, a Network of family business owners must be established. If you are a family business owner and would like to become a part of this network, please be so kind as to complete the online survey by clicking on the following link: NMMU FBU Family Business Network.
We will be using this information to create a database of family-owned businesses in South Africa and the rest of Africa. This will be the first database of its kind in the country as no reliable and exact statistics concerning the number and prevalence of family-owned businesses in South Africa exists. In addition, by completing the online form, you will be entitled to receive our electronic newsletter and details about upcoming events, workshops and training programmes. It is hoped that we can increase the dissemination of information and encourage family business research by way of this network.
