Interpersonal Skills Programme (NQF level 4)

Admission Requirements

An NQF level 3 or equivalent qualification with an acceptable level of literacy in English and at least two years work experience. Applicants will be required to go through a selection process. Recognition of prior learning is taken into account with each application.

Labour Relations, Labour Law & HR Management (NQF level 6)

Developed and Relevant for

HR practitioners and non-HR managers, trade union representatives.

Programme Objectives

  • A firm grasp of the current principles of Labour Relations, Labour Law and Human Resources Management
  • An understanding of the legislation and legal best practice involved in labour issues
  • The ability to effectively use all procedures within Labour Relations strategies for attraction, retention and performance management
  • An understanding of policies, procedures and codes in the Human Resources environment
  • Knowledge to drive goals and benchmarks for Skills Development

A senior certificate (Grade 12) or five years working experience.

Duration: Ten week self-study programme, with three day contact sessions, to be attended in Port Elizabeth (based on demand)
